Silantich, the ambulance driver, is being escorted to retirement, and the head of the Moscow substation, Olga Arefieva, introduces her new driver, Konstantin Kulygin from Novosibirsk, to her colleagues. On their first day, the driver shows his best side: with a team of experienced Vladimir Lomagin, they save a cat from fire, neutralize an aggressive alcoholic, and also diagnose a painless heart attack in a patient whom the team was going to hospital with suspected acute intestinal infection.
