Starting with a pill at a party, Cris then looses, she heads outside and meets the new student in her English class, Joana. A song comes on and sparks are flying. Moments later Ruben walks over and Cris gets an idea. Ruben has money, maybe enough to pay off Cris's pill that she lost. Meanwhile, Joana asks Cris to be her partner on an English assignment.
