E17Ram Defeats TarakaLaxman tries to fight off Tataka, but is overpowered. Ram rushes to Laxman's aid and kills Tataka. Shatanand informs Sita that Ram had defeated Tataka. Sita is lost in thoughts of Ram. Vishwamitra asks Ram to not feel upset. Subahu and Mareech are summoned to perform Taraka's last rites.
