Tia and Tamera Mowry play twins who were separated at birth, and as teenager meet by chance at a shopping mall. Ray Campbell, Tamera's adoptive father, is very different from Tia's adoptive mother, Lisa Landry, but the twins don't want to be separated, so Ray and Lisa end up living together. The series often focuses on the trouble the twins get into because of their their identical appearance--and the love/hate relationship between Lisa and Ray.

The Meeting

The MeetingThe twins discover each other in a clothing store, but learn that they may be separated again when Lisa confesses that she was fired weeks ago and has found a new job in St. Louis. The twins conspire to run away together to Minneapolis-St. Paul, the ""twin cities,"" but are discovered by Ray and Lisa, who agree to share Ray's house together despite their strong mutual dislike.

First DatesTia and Tamera don't have anybody to go with to the school dance on Friday. They make a pact to each stay home on Friday night, but then Tamera gets asked out by a boy and accepts. Meanwhile, their parents, Lisa and Ray, have trouble adapting to living together.

Slumber PartyTia and Tamera get to invite their friends over for a slumber party but get in trouble when one of the girls' boyfriends crashes the party. Meanwhile, Lisa has plans for a date that night but gets jilted at the last minute and has to spend the night at home with Ray.

Cheater, CheaterTia makes the honor roll at school, Tamera overhears Ray and Lisa discussing their kids and school and decides to make Ray proud of her by getting an A on her history test. On the day of the test, she blanks out and begs Tia to take the test as her to make the grade.

Out AloneTia and Tamera go to a movie and get lost on the bus ride home. Lisa convinces Ray to take "Little Ray" to the vet but Ray doesn't want to pay for the bill. Will Lisa be able to come up with the cash?

The BirthdayIt's the twins birthday and Lisa gets them a present they love until they see Ray's. His is a limo trip to Chicago. Excited, the twins forget about Lisa and get ready for Chicago. They bring along Sarah and make her feel left out. Taking advantage of room service and other hotel amenities, Ray goes crazy when he sees the bill. Will Tia, Tamera and Sarah make up, or will a grudge start and never end?

When Lisa and Ray hear the lyrics, they forbid the girls to listen to his music. But then Tia and Tamera win tickets to his concert and sneak out. Meanwhile, while Lisa and Ray are reminiscing on their high school days and high school crushes, they kiss, and then immediately freak out about it.
