In a tale as old as time, a young group of ice-dancing rock stars are about to make it big until Joey finds out he needs a kidney transplant. His fellow bandmate agrees to help save his friend by donating his own. The operation is a success and so is their group until a big Hollywood producer offers to take Joey solo for more money than he can imagine. He leaves his buddies behind but he can't forget their memory.
