LEUNG proposes to YAN but is rejected. He is therefore very upset. Knowing that LEUNG is in a bad mood, the students mean to get him and YAN to go bowling, which offers the pair a chance to make up with each other. YAN has fallen behind schedules with her teaching and is blamed for this by FUNG. She insists that students should be taught according to their ability so that they can progress at their own pace. Her view is supported by LEUNG and SZE. YAN has been looking forward to studying in England, through which she hopes she can achieve her dream of becoming a professional teacher. LEUNG does not want to be apart from YAN and is going to resign and leave with her. YIN has not only fallen sick but also suffered financial loss in her food business, which worries LEUNG terribly.
