Set in Ostrava and the surrounding area, it presents forensic scientist Magda Malá and her new partner Martin Černý. Together, they investigate criminal cases from unusual places, while strong storylines will follow the personal lives of investigators. Magda has to combine the time and mental work of a policewoman with taking care of her family and her little daughter. Martin came to Ostrava so as not to lose contact with his teenage son, who moved to his new home with his mother, Martin's now ex-wife. The initial small rivalry between Magda and Martin gradually grows into mutual sympathy and respect. However, they both have no idea that Magda has been watched for some time by the recently released prisoner Hrbek, who is implementing a sophisticated plan to avenge her for his previous capture.
