Two rival teams are given the task of building some kind of machine, in one day, using only the items found in an unusually well-stocked scrapyard. Machines constructed to date have included trebuchets, hovercraft, rockets, and more.

Final: Walking MachinesThe teams are challenged to make a walking machine: the winning contraption must carry the whole team and a heavy safe across a haphazard obstacle course.
