Not everything the eyes see the heart feels. As astronomy advances in the understanding of the Universe, each day we use less of our five senses to study the stars. Not all signals coming from space are light as we understand them. Other more exotic electromagnetic radiations pass through our atmosphere and reach the Earth's surface. Radio waves are produced by so many natural sources. If we could "hear" them, outer space would seem like a cacophony of ups and downs as we point our "ear radios" in different directions of the cosmos.
