The euphoria is back in Gelsenkirchen. On May 15, 2022, FC Schalke 04 will be promoted directly back to the Bundesliga. A year earlier, the club from the Ruhr area was still on the ground - sportingly and economically. The six-part documentary “Schalke 04 – zurück zum Wir” (…) shows how Royal Blue found its way back to itself. The close-up accompanies the club in one of its darkest hours and provides exclusive insights into the "Resurgence" mission. It doesn't matter whether it's in the living room of the players or fans, at crisis meetings of the board of directors or emotional speeches in the dressing room, in the fan pub or in the grandstand - the cameras are always there and capture the Schalke legend in an authentic way.
