Saraswatichandra and Kumud have an argument. Kabir provokes Vidyachatur and Danny to criticise their respective wives. Kusum and Guniyal argue with their respective husbands. Saraswatichandra enlightens Kabir about the importance of marriage. Kumud becomes delighted on learning that Saraswatichandra has booked her ticket for Mumbai, as well. She refuses to relocate to Mumbai on believing that something bad might happen to her family, in her absence.
