Kajal and Kusum complain to the police against Sunanda. The police decide to raid Sunanda's house. Sunanda learns about the same from an informer, and manages to escape. The police find Sunanda, and arrest her with Jugnu's help. Kumud enquires Sunanda about Ghuman's secret. Sunanda informs her that Ghuman had asked a lady to kill a baby. However, Menaka had rescued the baby. Sunanda tells Saraswatichandra that Ghuman had asked her to keep Kumud as a hostage.
