Sandokan, Yanez, Kamamuri and Marianne are shipwrecked and fall into the hands of pirates. While Sandokan and Yanez are forced to walk the plant to feed to sharks circling in the sea below, Marianne and Kamamuri remain on board as captives. The pirates are planning to sell them to the Sultan of Varuni.
