Mitsunari [Koji Yamamoto] decides to raid the Tokugawa residence in the Fushimi Castle town in order to take the life of Ieyasu. However, the assassination plot is leaked to Honda Masanobu [Masaomi Kondo], who raises the alarm and calls out to the daimyos to come to the protection of the residence. In this way, Masanobu tests the daimyos to see whether they will support the Tokugawa family. The odds are suddenly against Mitsunari. In a bid to help Mitsunari, Nobushige [Masato Sakai] visits Masayuki [Masao Kusakari] and makes an outlandish proposal.
