In the distant future, a team of four high-tech Star Sheriffs defends frontier space colony Yuma from outlaws, as well as Outriders, an army of humanoid alien beings called Vapors, led by mysterious Nemesis, who need Yuma's resources.

    Star Sheriff Round UpSaber Rider recalls how he, April, Colt and Fireball met and became the dynamic frontier fighting team: Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. Saber Rider arrives on Planet Yuma for his assignment to the special project, Ramrod, which is being led by April. He discovers that the Outrider, Vanquo, is plotting to undermine Ramrod, and, with the help of Fireball and Colt, who are on Yuma pursuing their own interests, Saber Rider defeats the Outriders and their gigantic battle machine, Renegade. With April's encouragement, the group decides to stay together to help tame the new frontier.

    Cavalry CommandWhen the Star Sheriffs arrive to investigate a destroyed Cavalry Command base, they are attacked by Outriders. One of the Star Sheriffs must go on a maverick mission to defeat them. Using a trick coin, Colt wins the toss against Saber Rider and flies off to battle the enemy, who trap him in a canyon. But, help comes from an unlikely source: a little iguana that Colt has befriended. With the iguana's help, Colt escapes and joins the other Star Sheriffs in defeating the Outriders.

He wants to trade the lives of Colt and Fireball for RAMROD.

Spotted Calf is arrested, while Sleek Elk escapes back to the tribe for reinforcements. The Chief calls Saber Rider, who was a childhood friend and blood brother of Sleek Elk. The Star Sheriffs arrive and try to prevent a range war. Colt and Fireball agree to guard Spotted Calf, while Saber and the Chief search for who was really behind the attack. While on duty, a smoke grenade is lobbed into the jail. Colt and Fireball wake up in the cell, and Spotted Calf is missing. Saber Rider has a tomahawk duel with Sleek Elk to try to prevent a range war. Meanwhile, April stumbles upon a barn that reveals who is really behind everything.

Another racing team by the name of the Black Hornets happen to be actually Outriders whose main goal is to attack the Cavalry Command Nerve Center located in Dome City.

However the Star Sheriffs are quite suspicious of such way of life and decide to investigate. They meet a blue-haired girl named Snowcone that takes a shine to Fireball. At first Snowcone willingly helps the Star Sheriffs but later betrays them. The worst thing comes when Fireball falls into the hands of Jesse Blue.

    Sneaky SpiesThe director of the Control Tower on planet Abileen, named Gerald Wyeth is kidnapped by Outriders and a spy with his looks is set to pose instead of him. The Star Sheriffs get very suspicious of Wyeth when he comes to visit his hospitalized sister and shows no emotions. Saber Rider and the others devise a plan how to capture Wyeth.

April goes undercover and befriends Trista to get a closer look at the facility.

    The Amazing LazardoA traveling magician by the name of the Amazing Lazardo made slaves from the people of a big western city. The magician has convinced them he is able to create earthquakes at will. Alerted of this mysterious magician, the Star Sheriffs begin their investigation.

    I Forgot!Fogarty, a human expert in explosives is approached by an undercover Outrider agents sent by Nemesis to plant a bomb at the setting of the upcoming peace summit conference. Fogarty is betrayed by the Outriders who make an attempt on his life but fortunately the Star Sheriffs interfere on time. Fogarty wakes up in the hospital with amnesia.

Mandarin helps the Star Sheriffs to approach the Outrider's ship where Commander Eagle is being held captive. However Commander Eagle manages to escape and wanders around until he meets an old monk who gives him shelter.

    Legend of the Lost WorldCommander Eagle learns from the old monk that the human race and the Outriders' aren't that different after all. Meanwhile Cavalry Command prepares to send a rescue mission for Commander Eagle, but an Outrider agent infiltrates their base and takes the place of a Cavalry Commander Ghoul. He tries to distract the Star Sheriffs' attention, and has his own plans.

Jesse Blue arrives on planet Yuma as an ambassador, send by Nemesis to negotiate the conditions for the peace treaty.

Nemesis orders Jesse to send a rescue mission on planet Yuma to save him, but Jesse declines. Soon, Jesse discovers that even though still on planet Yuma, Nemesis still has full control over the Nth Degree.

    Who Is Nemisis?The Star Sheriffs jump into the Outrider dimension. They are there to plant explosives on the Outriders' planet. Meanwhile Nemesis is finally revealed as a synthetic cyborg with full control over the Nth degree.

    Happy TrailsTo end the war, Star Sheriffs must stop the computer that's still running the Outriders' orbital station and is about to launch a desperate final attack that will destroy Yuma. However, traitorous Jesse wants the station for himself.
