Murder of a GAA ChairmanOn 12 May 1997 Sean Brown, the esteemed chairman of Bellaghy Wolfe Tones GAA Club, was ambushed by members of the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) as he locked up the gates to the training ground. The perpetrators fled, leaving a trail of devastation that would scar a community for decades to come. No one has yet been charged.
