    Murder of a GAA ChairmanOn 12 May 1997 Sean Brown, the esteemed chairman of Bellaghy Wolfe Tones GAA Club, was ambushed by members of the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) as he locked up the gates to the training ground. He was abducted, beaten, and shot six times in the head. He was found next to his burning car the following morning. The perpetrators fled, leaving a trail of devastation that would scar a community for decades to come. No one has yet been charged. The ‘Troubles Legacy Act’ will offer immunity from prosecution for Troubles-related offenses. As the deadline looms, this is the Brown family’s journey to redress the injustice of the murder of a father, husband, and grandfather.
