Clive taunts him about past defeats and that leads Bill to bet that Roy could beat Deco at snooker. Roy is put on an intensive training programme with the O'Brien reputation at stake. Meanwhile Maura's reputation is also at stake as she hosts the snobby and shallow "ladies" of the local book club.
