Fearful that it's Andy, they're wary that Bobbi Lee may have betrayed them to the Gardaí. Peadar is disappointed when Máire refuses to be his dancing partner at the Ionad Pobail's Dance. But Peadar is insistent, and will stop at nothing to dance with his sweetheart. David is terrified about losing Gráinne to London, and decides that he must make a grand gesture to beg her to stay.
