Ivan Doronin is one of the best SOBR special forces soldiers. During an operation to free hostages, a man is seriously injured and is sent on leave. At the same time, Ivan is informed about the death of his ex-wife, with whom he had almost no contact, only regularly paying alimony for his son Misha. Doronin goes to his native village Medvezhe to pick up the child. But on the spot he finds out that his wife has another son, from another man. And both boys live with Doronin's stepfather. Ivan remains in Medvezhe to formalize guardianship of Misha. At the same time, the hero has to replace his suddenly ill stepfather at work as a postman. While delivering correspondence around the area, Ivan continually finds himself in difficult situations, where the skills of a special forces soldier come in handy. So, Doronin will have to take care of the peace of the village residents, become a real father not only to his own, but also to someone else's child, and also enter into an unequal battle with a major official for the love of a local beauty.
