This day it happens that Zhuge Liang is not in, can only be disappointed and return. Soon after, Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei went to ask Zhuge Liang for the second time in a heavy snowstorm. But Zhuge Liang was out for a leisurely trip again. After some time, Liu Bei ate vegetarian for three days and was ready to ask Zhuge Liang again. Guan Yu said that Zhuge Liang might have a false name and might not have the real talent, so he did not need to go. But Zhang Fei advocated that he should go alone to call, and if he did not come, he should be tied with a rope. Liu Bei reprimanded Zhang Fei and visited Zhuge Liang for the third time with both of them.
