S1 • E3 Oct 6, 1958 30mTom Hickey is a former member of RESCUE 5 who is now wheelchair bound. He is also a former partner of Wes Cameron. Tom sends his son Jimmy to summer camp where the boy falls about 50'off Devils Bluff. The camp leader goes to the Maywood Canyon Ranger Station to request assistance and to call Tom Hickey to tell him his son has been injured. Tom calls Wes to ask him to go to Jimmys aid and Wes can't refuse because Wes is Jimmys godfather. When Wes & Skip arrive they devise a plan to work with the on duty members of RESCUE 5 to save Jimmy.
