CHING and other officials quarrel over the crowning of MAN. In the meantime, LADY SHUK reveals that CHEUNG had passed his will to REVEREND TSZ-HOI. REVEREND TSZ-HOI is dead. CHEUNG’s will is nowhere to be found. It is decided that the news of CHEUNG’s death be kept confidential for the time being. Meanwhile, PO and FUNG are to search for the lost will and the monk who has stolen it. YEUNG enters CHEUNG’s room with the help of LI KING-LUNG, governor of left garrison, and learns about her father’s death. FUNG and PO go to the Willow Court for investigation.
