The surgery's left her with constant pain and nerve damage and Alicia knows that her body can't take much more. Despite this, Alicia is extremely skeptical about therapy when she arrives at Passages and spends the first few days acting like a rebellious teen and refusing to participate in activities. She doesn't believe talking will help her get over her problems and wants to keep 'her past in her past'.
