Each episode simulates a funeral for one of the VIP guests, complete with a ceremonial setting and funereal atmosphere - but the tone is satirical and irreverent. The comedians compete to deliver the most "savage" roast: whoever manages to be the most biting, witty, and sharp wins. The "deceased" VIP attends the ceremony without being allowed to defend themselves - it's all part of the game.
