    An Unconventional Launch Party16 new designers arrive in New York with an eye to being named champion of Project Runway's 15th season. At the launch party, they are given their first challenge: use the party's spirit, aura, and vibe as inspiration (and the decorations as materials) for an outfit of their choosing. They have one day to complete their looks.

    Just Fabulous!The designers must create an outfit to flatter all body types, with the winning look to be sold by JustFab.com. They have $150 and one day to complete the challenge.
  • Blacklight or Daylight?

    Blacklight or Daylight?In Project Runway's first blacklight challenge, the designers have to create a look that sparkles not only in daylight, but under blacklights on the runway as well. Anxieties rise when the unusual materials leave many of the designers in the dark.
  • Sink Or Swim

    Sink Or SwimThe designers are challenged to create a swimsuit and an accompanying coverup. The looks are to be inspired by Heidi Klum's swim collection, and the winning outfit will be reproduced and sold as part of the collection. They are also asked to design the fabric they will use. They have $100 and one day to complete their looks.

    There's No “I” In “Team”In two teams, the designers must create a four piece mini-collection. Each team will pitch their vision to a group of investors to obtain a portion of their $3,000 investment fund. They have one day to complete the challenge.
  • There IS Crying in Fashion

    There IS Crying in FashionThe designers are excited to attend a Press Event, but their festive mood is quickly spoiled when the party turns out to be a Challenge. The misdirect proves to be more than most of the designers can handle as many of them have to start their looks over completely when criticized by a disappointed Tim Gunn. Emily Ratajkowski joins the judging panel.
  • Welcome to the Urban Jungle

    Welcome to the Urban JungleThe designers are whisked away to Universal Studios Orlando to recharge their batteries. There, they are asked to create a streetwear look for the urban jungle, using the Skull Island: Reign Of Kong ride as inspiration. They have $200 and one day to complete the challenge.
  • Project Pop Up

    Project Pop UpThe designers are faced with their second Team Challenge of the season, and must work together to create 3-piece collections to be shown in a SoHo Pop Up Shop. However, working in teams leads to tensions and tantrums as the designers struggle to have their voices heard. Guest judge Kelly Osbourne returns.
  • Life Is Full of Surprises

    Life Is Full of SurprisesThe designers are pleasantly surprised when each one of them is visited by a special guest from home. But the emotional reunions with their mothers, daughters, and friends are quickly overshadowed by the drama of the next challenge when the designers learn that their newly arrived loved ones will also be their clients-and there is $50,000 on the line. Olivia Culpo and Katia Beauchamp join the judging panel.

    A Power TripUsing the sights from a helicopter ride above New York City as inspiration, the designers must create an editorial look for a powerful woman to be featured in Marie Claire magazine. They have $300 and one day to complete the challenge.
  • Bold Innovation

    Bold InnovationThe designers are tasked to create an avant-garde look using conventional fabric and unconventional metal materials. They have $150 and two days to complete the challenge.
  • An Unconventional Trip
    E12
    An Unconventional TripDuring an inspirational trip to Austin, Texas, the designers must purchase their garment materials from a farm supply store and a music & barbeque venue. Back in New York, they must use these materials to create a high fashion look. They have $500 and two days to complete the challenge. Later, they are given an additional $200 to create a corresponding look using conventional materials.
  • Finale, Part 1

    Finale, Part 1Each of the remaining designers is given six weeks and $9000 to design a 10-piece collection for Fashion Week. In the interim, each gets a special visit in their hometown from Tim Gunn. Back in New York, they must choose three of their outfits, and create a brand logo, to show to the judges for critiques and feedback.
  • Finale, Part 2

    Finale, Part 2In the conclusion of the finale, the remaining contestants ready their collections for the runway. They are given an additional $500 to spend at Mood to finish their looks. Then they present their lines to industry insiders at Fashion Week.
