Maksim is very concerned about the complicated case of the criminal Tsybin, who escaped from prison after a deal with the Devil. Help is needed to catch him, and therefore Maksim asks Dachnik to return the deceased investigator. Also, after reviewing the case, the medium Angela returns, who first of all frees Vladlen. She receives a tempting offer from the Devil to take Nikolay's place and agrees. Maksim and the resurrected investigator manage to catch the fugitive and force him to break the contract. Finally, Valentina finds out about her daughter's pregnancy.
