Water - MondayWater is an essential part of every living creature's life. Water is the natural environment for many living things. These are explored throughout the week -the sea, rivers, ponds and lakes. The life they contain and the things we find in these environments. A variety of water crafts are presented through play and song. Boats, ships, leisure crafts and barges are found. Water as a necessity for plants and growing things is explored. The use of water for washing and cleaning of ourselves and objects is played out. Water has certain properties - it can be frozen. On Tuesday we explore the icy environment of Antarctica. Each day we discover a different water world on the water calendar.
