In a medieval era, King Big Nose gives his servant Pink Panther the opportunity to become a knight by sending him out on a mission to slay a dragon that's a threat to his kingdom, doing so only because his servant is expendable. After journeying up to the mountain he resides, Pinky tries various ways to defeat the dragon, only to find the giant lizard is afraid of mice, giving him the chance to make a deal with him. The dragon returns with Pink Panther, forcing the king to officially make him a knight while the dragon can provide entertainment as well as heat for the coming winter.
