Episode 2Danilo Restivo returns home late, distraught, with a wound on his hand, however the police does not have sufficient evidence to detain him. His father sends him to Naples.

Episode 3Danilo is arrested and tried for false statements, but the absence of Elisa’s body does not allow to bring the accusations forward. The case is ultimately closed.

Episode 4The Claps case is transferred to the public prosecutor in Salerno. Gildo marries Irene. The two create Penelope, a foundation that supports the families of missing people.

Episode 5Danilo Restivo relocates to England and marries Fiamma. In 2002, their neighbour, Heather Barnett, is found dead in her home by her children.
