Shaken by recent events, Rita sets aside her impromptu wish to head back to London, and joins Paula's investigation. This brings her into conflict with her group of friends, especially Candela, with whom she had a love affair in the past. Feeling threatened, the others also join in and devise strategies to make the police look the other way.
