Jonathan’s stress increases when fencing jeopardizes some of Pamela’s beloved trees and the site plans are off the mark, delaying construction. While the work continues, Pamela, her mother Carol, and son Brandon visit some of the most beautiful gardens on Vancouver Island searching for inspiration.

Paula and Pamela’s assistant Jonathan visit several Vancouver Island estates seeking design inspiration for the new builds – but some of the homes they visit don’t meet their high expectations. After years of waiting, Pamela finally gets news from the government on whether she can buy back the government land the boathouse sits on and begin renovations, or if she will be forced to tear it down.
