Traders and brothers, Rodney and Derek "Del Boy" Trotter, work from the streets of London buying what they can from the auctions and flogging it down at the market, always saying "This time next year, we'll be millionaires". Their Granddad and, later in the series, Uncle Albert also live in their council flat as the wise old man saying their next scheme won't work and offering in their jokes.

Things seem to be going well before Rodney gets tangled up with Trudy. Del tells Albert and Rodney that he sees two people when he looks at Raquel. Either Raquel's pregnant or Del's drunk!

    Stage FrightRodney has lost his home, his wife, his job and his career - and Raquel is now 3 months' pregnant. The Trotters are hoping their luck will change, and when Del hears that the local cabaret club will pay a premium if he can provide a singer for the night, he sees Raquel as the perfect solution. Contracts are signed - the only problem seems to be there's only 24 hours to rehearse, and Raquel has no band, no material and, worst of all, stage fright!

    The Class of '62Del is invited to a school reunion with Boycie, Denzil and Trigger. The organiser remains a mystery until disgraced ex-policeman Roy Slater appears. After drinks in the Nag's Head they all repair to the flat where Del discovers that Slater is married to Raquel, who wants a divorce from him. Happily for Del he finds out that Slater is getting a rake-off from the diamond heist for which he served time and uses this to blackmail him into divorcing Raquel.

    He Ain't Heavy, He's My UncleAfter a night at the Nag's Head, Uncle Albert comes home beaten up and tells tales of two, three or was it four muggers. But something isn't right and he runs away from home. Finally Del Boy and Rodney realise where to find him.

    Three Men, a Woman and a BabyDel is hoping to sell a load of wigs bought from Mustapha to the old ladies in the Nag's Head and is annoyed to find out that he has actually bought a box of mens' wigs. Cassandra leaves Rodney, claiming that he lacks drive. He turns vegetarian and sports a clip-on pony-tail to appear trendy but when Cassandra gets back in touch with him she tells him she prefers him just as he is. Raquel gives birth to a baby boy, which Rodney has jokingly suggested be called Damien, a name Del and Raquel are happy to give him. As dusk falls Del communes with his dead mother to tell her of his happiness.
