Mariya Trifonova is a real "old school" math teacher, the last "Teacher of the Year of the USSR". In her classes, children are not only afraid to take out their phones, but they don't even breathe without permission. Unexpectedly for herself, she finds herself in an elite school - all for the chance to improve relations with her only granddaughter, whom she has not seen for many years due to a conflict with her daughter. Mariya is faced with an unusual approach to teaching: freedom, technology and spoiled children of the rich reign here. Now she has to instill a love of mathematics in the modern generation and find a common language with the closest people.
