OHNI founder, Dr. Ryan Osborne, led 17 team members on their first medical mission trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in January of 2016. In 10 days, the OHNI team performed 16 minor operations, 51 major operations, and treated over 1000 patients in the clinic.

    Belize Medical MissionThe OHNI family pack their bags and travel to Central America. Specifically, to Belmopan, Belize to assist the Western Regional Medical Center meet the Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck surgical needs of the citizens of Belize. Sponsored by the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation (OHNF) and the worldwide community supporters of the global outreach efforts of OHNI. The team works together to tackle a wide range of problems from hearing loss to skin cancer. They remove live beetles from the ear canal and tumors from awake patients under local anesthesia. Friendships are made, trust is built, and more than 55 major operations are completed.

    WaleedWaleed was diagnosed with bilateral large parotid Wharthin's tumors. Only about 10 to 20 percent of patients with parotid tumors will be diagnosed with a Warthin's tumor, and only about 5 percent of Warthin's tumors will present on both parotid glands simultaneously. It was the rarity of his case and the risk of bilateral facial paralysis that made Waleed seek out the OHNI team.
