Möller is visiting his wife's grave when an elegant woman approaches him. She tells him she's a widow, opens a conversation with him about being alone and finally invites him to her big house. After a few more rendezvous she suddenly asks him to lend her 2000 crowns. It's a huge sum of money for Möller, but he is flattered by her flirtation and finally agrees. Soon he finds out that he is the victim of a confidence trickster.
