Cathy has a barbecue where she asks Michael why he did not reply to her email suggesting they spent a day at a garden centre and is surprised by his reason. The in-laws criticize everything from the dips to Derek and his children, notably weird Danielle who has arrived with her parents. Kelly can talk of nothing but her new flat whilst an accident with a deck chair prompts a visit to a garden centre after all.
