A young aspiring female pilot named Tezuka Haru has been desperately hunting for a job for a while now, but nothing seems to come about. Without thinking about the consequences, she takes and barely passes the necessary exam to enter the world of aviation. From then on, she begins to walk the path towards becoming a female pilot. Of course she struggles a lot, especially since the training is more severe than she expected before taking the exam. She bonds with her fellow cadets, has to deal with some very strict teachers, and meets various people while going through the pilot training.

The daughter of a downtown bar, becomes a pilot!東京・蒲田にある居酒屋の娘、手塚晴（堀北真希）は、就職活動中の大学生。特に夢もなく、就職活動に苦戦し万策尽きた晴の目に飛び込んできたのは、ＡＮＡの自社養成パイロットの募集要項だった。 晴は考えもしなかった航空業界の会社説明会で、長年パイロットを夢見てきた小田千里（相武紗季）と出会う。100倍以上の倍率にもかかわらず、パイロット一本で勝負をする東大大学院エリート才女の千里とは正反対の晴だが、採用試験が進むにつれて二人は会話を交わす仲になる。 晴はパイロット採用試験を受ける傍ら、さまざまな会社にエントリーするも、手にするのは不合格通知ばかり。 一方で、そんな晴の天真爛漫、素直な性格がＡＮＡパイロットの採用試験面接官の国木田孝之助（斎藤工）と、現役機長でパイロットを束ねる総責任者・篠崎一豊（岩城滉一）の目にとまる。 - Newcomer trainee trial! Newcomer trainee trial! Object to the superiors at the airport terminal!ANAのパイロット採用試験に合格し、グループAのメンバーになった手塚晴（堀北真希）は、同じチームとなった小田千里（相武紗季）、岸井泰治（間宮祥太朗）、小鳥翔（小柳友）、山田一男（藤井流星）、諸星麻也（庄野崎謙）らとともにパイロット寮に入り、訓練生としての生活を始める。 まず地上訓練に臨んだ晴たちは、グランドスタッフの制服に研修生のバッチを付けて羽田空港のフロアに向かう。一億円のバイオリンを持ち込む音楽家、大幅に重量オーバーの荷物を持ち込む中年女性などにそれぞれが悪戦苦闘する中、晴は酔っぱらい客の佐藤寅雄（野添義弘）に出会う。聞けば、寅雄はひとり娘の結婚式に向かう予定で、娘が嫁ぐ寂しさから深酒をしたとのこと。晴は搭乗時間までベンチで休むよう寅雄に勧めた。 やがて、寅雄に急いで搭乗ゲートに向かうようにうながす館内放送が流れる。晴は慌てて、寅雄が休んでいた所に行くが、寅雄の姿は無い。晴は、持ち場でないと制する千里の声も聞かず、探しに出る。 - Let's prevent a crash!! Reaching the climax of the America training, unexpectedly someone drops out...手塚晴（堀北真希）たちがアメリカに渡ってから10ヵ月が過ぎた。6人は正規ミッションには含まれていない低酸素訓練を自ら進んで行うなど、精力的に訓練に励む。 そんな中、アメリカの宿舎に阿倍野すず（桜庭ななみ）、鈴木倫子（菜々緒）、三枝かのこ（藤澤恵麻）がやってきた。3人は、晴たち6人の成長に驚く。 晴たちの訓練は、計器飛行のステージへと進む。夜間などの視界が悪い時のために、飛行中の機体にフードをつけて視界を遮り、計器だけを見て飛行する訓練だ。難度の高い訓練に苦戦する6人。 3ヵ月後、計器飛行試験が行われる。「2回失敗すればパイロット脱落」の重圧を乗り越え、6人はなんとか試験を終える。緊張の面持ちで結果を待つ6人の前に国木田孝之助（斎藤工）がやってきた。国木田は、合格者は1名しかいない、と告げ…。 - Last message to the colleagues in AmericaE7
Last message to the colleagues in AmericaOda fails the test and has to return back to Japan but she never reaches Japan and has disappeared. After a long search they finally get information that she has reached Japan but no one has been able to locate her yet. After their training the group finally return to Japan but what is going to happen to Oda? And why is Shinozaki-san meeting up with Oda's mother?
