On Dangerous GroundThe third season opens with Flower leading the Whiskers gang to better hunting grounds. When they cross into territory claimed by the rival Zappa clan, an altercation with them ends with a missing pup.
The Mission

The MissionFlower mounts a rescue mission to find her pups who are lost in the heart of Zappa territory. It falls to Mitch to try to find the rest of the family and lead them back to the frightened pups. On his journey, Mitch runs into Mozart who has started up her own group with her old flame, Carlos. But with the Zappa closing in on the pups, it's a race against time.

Sister ActThe Whiskers are getting acquainted with their new territory as Mozart and Kinkajou compete for the role of dominant female of the new Starsky group.
The Death of Romance

The Death of RomanceCarlos may have settled down with the Starsky, but it seems there's a new Casanova in town. Roving male Houdini has a particular knack with the ladies and isn't afraid of setting his sights too high. Having given birth, dominant female Flower is once again in her receptive period but will her head be turned by Houdini? Despite finding a new home, the Starsky's triumph is short lived when they lose one of their most valued members.

The Tale of Len and SquiggyRocket Dog is in charge of the group after Flower's mysterious disappearance. With the burden of leadership and Flower's pups to consider, Rocket Dog is having a hard time. Things go from bad to worse when roving Zappa males plague the group, and the pups fall victim to the desert.

Sibling RivalryLola, the dominant female of the Zappa, is missing. In her absence, Punk attempts to take charge of the Zappa. When the wounded Lola makes her way home, she is greeted by a coup and her dominance is taken by her sister, Punk.
Heavy is the Crown

Heavy is the CrownThe Kalahari is in serious drought, which splits the Whiskers for nearly a month. Although the Commandoes occupy the territory, Flower returns with half the group to their old manor in a desperate attempt to search for food. Flower's daughter, Rocket Dog, is left in charge of the remaining family and has problems dealing with leadership.
Journey's End

Journey's EndFlower gives birth to her third litter of the year. In a contest over land, the reunited Whiskers have no problem seeing off rival gang the Zappa. But, when one little trooper is left behind, the Whiskers are left with a tough decision. And, it's the end of an era when tragedy strikes, and the Kalahari loses its favorite rose.
A New Day

A New DayFlower's daughter Rocket Dog once again finds herself in charge of the Whiskers. But with her sister Maybelline showing signs of rebellion, and her father Zaphod unwilling to leave the group, the odds are stacked against the new leader.

Farewell, My LovelyAs the season changes, Zaphod leaves the Whiskers and begins a new life as a roving male. His attempt to find a new mate in the Zappa tribe is thwarted by the existing dominant male, so he decides to continue living alone.

Three Degrees of SeparationThe wide-eyed Whiskers pups are taken out on a foraging trip to learn about life in the Kalahari. At the Starsky household, sisters Mozart, Kinkajou and Whoopie have fallen on hard times. In an effort to turn their luck around, they bravely go in search of a solution, but they end up looking in all the wrong places!

The GraduateThere's a new roving male learning the ropes at Meerkat Manor. While Wilson from the Commandos introduces himself to a certain Whiskers lady, someone else makes a surprise return to the family. And, at last, there's hope for lone female Mozart when a dashing young male turns his attention to her. But, how long will his interests last?

A Family at WarAs the season ends, the Whiskers now have 50 members. The new matriarch, Rocket Dog, attempts to maintain control of the group in spite of the efforts of her sister, Maybelline, to attain dominant female status. The group dynamic has changed and nothing will ever be the same again.
