This random guy is me in 30 years!? A romantic dinner. Out of the restaurant window, a spectacular night view. Igarashi Raito is about to propose to his girlfriend Tsutsui Rin. Raito has always played safe. Failure is the thing that must be avoided at all costs. If all goes well tonight, his future should be smooth sailing. Just then, a middle-aged man appears out of nowhere, splashes Raito with wine, and tells him to call off the proposal or he would regret it for the rest of his life. The man claims to be “Igarashi Raito from 2054,” and tells the young Raito to answer his phone, which will ring soon. As predicted, the call comes. It is Raito’s old classmate from technical college, inviting him to join his new robot venture.
