- BOBIROCJune 14, 20269 episodes in and find it hard to get with the show fully. Seems to be the same rinse and repeat of hunt bad guy(s), do lots of killing, then go hang out at bar. I feel the show is leading up to something with chairmen Rainwater but I am not certain. I also feel the show could have been stronger if Kelsey Asbille was in the show as Monica Dutton.

All Yellowstone shows have a point to the show but this sadly doesn't and I think this is because although it has Taylor Sheridans name on it he has no input in production or writing. It could be better but if it is going to carry the Sheridan name it has to have the same writing style and production IMO. CGI is a bit ropey as well Don't think I will be breaking down doors to watch Season 2
- Daniel ParrishJune 25, 2026The amount of times this show just kind of hand waved away explanations of things got to be too much for me - their tiny team of Marshals taking on much larger groups or refusing to wait on backup just made no sense. Luke Grimes did a poor job of any sort of emotions or feelings that might have drawn me in more - I just didnt feel any sort of attachment to him, his son or their story in this show. Some of the other characters drew me in more but still not enough to make me actually enjoy it. I had hopes for this show but they fell far short of expectations.
- Anodyne4KJune 10, 2026Marshals lacks the depth of characters found on Yellowstone, even with Kayce Dutton as the center of much of this first season. The crisis focused on unfolds okay but the delivery of the story in the early episodes is a little... soft. That said, Marshals does slowly improve as the first season establishes itself. It's not a ringing endorsement for the Yellowstone brand but it does hold potential for a bigger story down the road should the series continue beyond its first season.

Each Episode Gets Dumber and More Predictable
By the middle of the season, it’s pretty obvious the writers have completely run out of ideas. And instead of coming up with something new, they just keep recycling the same boring nonsense. First, we had to endure episode after episode revolving around that useless son named Tate, who was basically a brainless puppet in both the original Yellowstone and this new series, barely capable of putting two words together. Yet the writers desperately kept pushing this pointless father-son drama as if anyone actually cared. And now they’ve switched to the nightmares and fears of one of the main female characters. Apparently, watching her repeatedly screw up every Marshals operation through her own stupidity isn’t enough. Somehow, she gets away with everything. No consequences, no accountability. Just brilliant writing! Honestly, the whole thing is turning into a joke. The story gets more primitive with every episode, the characters become increasingly annoying, and the writers keep desperately trying to inject some life into a show that’s clearly running on empty. Final rating: 1/10.
