The Camachos are a fair middle-class family who live in one of those typical townhouses on the outskirts of any city. They usually have nothing good to say about anyone, not even themselves. Fran and Lola met in high school, and since then neither of them has changed much. They both feel that life has ripped them off. He thinks she's nuts, she thinks he's a rat.
