It narrates the confrontation of two sisters: Manuela and Isabel. Born from a forbidden relationship, Isabel is taken to Argentina and adopted by Madame Guerrero, a rich lady. In the shadows, Bernarda, her biological mother, remains in the same house but as a servant. Meanwhile, Manuela, Isabel's sister on her father's side, grows up in an Argentine town called Cañada Seca with an identical resemblance to Isabel except for her hair color, since Isabel is platinum blonde in contrast to her sister's dark hair, without tell that between the two there are also 10 years of difference.
