Detective Rasheen `Pep' Peppers and Inspector Dan Potucek receive a case from Newark PD and immediately present it to Commander Lenny DePaul who offers up all the resources the U.S. Marshals have to give. Seven months prior, a young man who came to Newark to sell his ATV, was robbed, shot in a courtyard and left severely paralyzed, clinging to life in a transaction gone severely awry.
