Like many cities, Newark NJ has a problem with street gangs. Murders, shootings, robberies all leave residents feeling as though gang life has taken over civil life. But the people of Newark have a crime fighter on their side who's on a personal mission to set things right. Detective Rasheen "Pep" Peppers was born and raised in Newark and still lives there.
