But back at the precinct, their suspect escapes, fleeing the interrogation room. After two months, reports in the local news, and several attempts by Newark PD to find "Houdini," Detective Rasheen "Pep" Peppers and the Fugitive Task Force get called in to take over the case. Pep, Inspector Dan Potucek, and a Newark team of Deputized Marshals brief Commander Lenny DePaul on the case. Together they believe that the key to finding "Houdini" is to locate his girlfriend. But as they embark on the hunt for their fugitive, they quickly learn that finding his girlfriend might prove to be just as difficult.
