Krishna advises Arjun to go ahead with the proposal keeping in mind the future of their kingdom. Krishna convinces Arjun that under the present circumstances it was essential to maintain a friendly relation with Manipur and thus he must marry Chitrangada. Meanwhile, Chandak is determined to make Ulupi aware of her husband's affair and thus takes her to Manipur to witness Arjun's marriage with princess Chitrangada.
