Word is that the diamonds will be transported to their destination, Puerto Rico, by missile. If Lupin loses it, it will be a blow to his reputation. The decision is made to attack the missile at the midpoint of its trajectory, but in order for this to succeed, it is necessary to get the precise launch time.
