Kanon Shibuya, a musically gifted girl, dreams of pursuing music but is held back by stage fright. After failing to enter Yuigaoka Girls' High School's music program, she decides to give up on music. However, her classmate Tang Keke reignites Kanon's passion by introducing her to the world of school idols. Together, they try to form an idol group, but face opposition from Ren Hazuki, the daughter of the school’s director. Eventually, they’re allowed to create the idol club on one condition: they must win the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. With new challenges and friends, Kanon and her team strive to shine as the idols they aspire to be.
