Club leader Kanon Shibuya meets first-year student Kinako Sakurakouji and introduces her to the world of school idols. Though awed, Kinako doubts she can match Liella!'s brilliance. Despite her hesitation, Kinako is encouraged to join and soon shares the dream of competing in the grand Love Live! competition.
