A desperate man escapes from a mysterious person using mask and uniform but is captured and subjected to a "deep cleaning" with a lethal chemical. UNIC investigates the crime and discovers that the victim was burned with caustic soda. Soon other bodies turn up with the same modus operandi. The clues lead to a radical ecologist that uses industrial chemicals to punish businessmen that harm the environment. The key is in a product called "Steam Boss", connected to the Environmental Protection Agency. When the killer is arrested, he confesses that his hatred towards contamination has led him to take revenge against those who destroy nature.
